I challenge Anyone to name an Actor who has been in more Leading Roles without ever even landing a fluke quality role.

Even Orlando Bloom (LOTR) and Chris O'Donnell (School Ties) have been in Decent Movies.

Gere Hasn't even Landed a Quality Role as a Voice for an Animated Movie.

(Perhaps The Academy Would Recognize His Achievements If He Spent More On Screen Time With Gerbils)
